with a hero in one hand
and the nemesis in the other.
A love interest on my mind
while the antagonist lurks around the corner.
Writer’s block sits on my shoulders
mocking
laughing
kicking and holding its belly.
I’m armed though
with sharp arrows
poisoned tipped inspiration.
and with a steady hand
full first person determination
I hold the bow of reflection
loaded
my strengthened inflection
whisper
